Utility Assistance

Home Energy Assistance Program provides assistance paying winter heating bills to low income county residents (age 18 and over). Regular HEAP may pay a portion of heating bills for the winter heating months. Emergency Home Energy Assistance Program provides financial assistance to families / individuals who are threatened with disconnection or who have a ten day or less supply of bulk fuel.

Utility Assistance

Utility assistance programs available to low income homeowners, and renters (age 18 and over) who live in single or multi-family units. Services can include insulation, caulking, weather-stripping, safety checks (CO2) and possible replacement on furnaces and hot water heaters.
